British Airways Baggage Allowance and Luggage Allowance
Travelling on British Airways?
Be aware of their baggage allowance and charges.
The maximum allowance depends on your destination and seat class. The average is between 23 – 32kgs for each item of luggage. This is strictly enforced. If your luggage is above the limit, you will either have to lighten it or pay an extra £25 for each piece.
To avoid these charges and embarassing repacking at the airport, please make sure you weigh your luggage before leaving home. You can do this easily with a high quality home travel scale.
Ensure you take the scale with you on your holiday so that you don’t get charged excess baggage fees on your way back. The scale is compact and weighs less than 200grams (0.2kg) so it can easily fit into your hand luggage or your jacket pocket.
Enjoy your holiday.
